California solar outlook for 2008

A long post from RenewableEnergyAccess.com about the current state of solar legislation in California, with plenty of legislative detail about federal tax credits, the Solar Water Heating Efficiency Act, various incentives for solar energy. The piece was written by Sue Kateley of CALSEIA, the California Solar Energy Industries Association. As usual, California has some of the most forward-looking laws in the United States governing alternative energy. Other jurisdictions may well pick up initiatives tried out in California.
